About Megan

My goal with each new project is to bring a space to life by listening to home owners, collaborating with contractors and offering my own unique perspective.

As a child, my interest in architecture, design and gardens started with frequent visits to the LA Arboretum, obsessively watching “This Old House with Bob Villa” with my mom and being fascinated by hardware stores.

After studying architecture and art history in college I worked as an interior designer for over a decade in LA, managing a range of projects from residential remodels to exclusive hotel bars and pool cabanas. Needing to explore a new creative outlet and business idea, I started my own handmade jewelry line that was inspired by architectural details and elements found in nature.

Moving to Ojai, surrounded by other artists …I paused that path to be home with our two boys for a few years which gave me the opportunity to return to my love of being outside.

Moving to Ojai, having two kids and remodeling our own home brought me back to now expanding into landscape design; my background and skillset is broad.

Working with a wide range of projects, budgets, needs and priorities has given me the opportunity to hone in on what I love.

While much of my design process is intuitive; I work with intention and precision.

Whether its the first design consultation, presenting drawings and ideas, meeting with contractors or making final decisions; I love working with and investing time in my clients. If you have any questions about your project, how to get started or my process; please reach out to me!
