There is a lot of attention right now on creating happiness in our lives which is great but sometimes feels like a lot of pressure to feel positive, joyful and grateful all the time. I have been focusing on creating serenity instead because it encourages reflection, quiet and stillness which allows me to stay very present; in both the celebratory moments AND in the challenging ones.
The subtle texture and shape of this design has reminded me of what's available to chose at any moment. Whether sitting in LA traffic or strolling in a peaceful garden, our internal state is ours to create.
