"My mission in life is not merely to survive,
but to thrive; and to do so with some passion,
some compassion, some humor and some style."
- Maya Angelou
This jewelry business started with an itch to be more creative and a gut feeling that I had a lot more to share with others.
For almost a decade I was working as an interior designer in LA and quickly burning out from trying to keep up with perfection, clients and external goals. I needed an outlet for self expression, personal creativity and taking a risk on my intuition.
After discovering a "lost wax" jewelry class at a small studio in Santa Monica, I found myself tapping into a creative side of myself that I had not explored in a long time. After a few short months, I couldn't stop day dreaming about new jewelry pieces and realized this might be my next path.
Before working as an interior designer, I studied art history and architecture in college. All of these experiences have given me the opportunity to study and master design elements such as balance, proportion, scale, texture, functionality, intricate details and color combinations.
Because my background was a perfect match for stepping into jewelry design, my design process has always been intuitive. While I work with intention and precision, I also allow each piece to take on a life of its own. The result is carefully crafted, high quality jewelry that is unique and will hopefully make you feel a little extra special!
Every piece is an original design, handmade and one of a kind or produced in small batches.
